LIBRARY

The Library at Government Polytechnic for Women Bemina, Srinagar, is a well-equipped facility catering to the academic and research needs of its students and faculty. With a collection of approximately 27,000 books, including a diverse range of subjects and genres, the library offers ample resources for learning and exploration.
In addition to its extensive book collection, the library also subscribes to more than 10 journals, newspapers, and the latest subjective and general magazines, providing up-to-date information and knowledge to its users.
The library’s operations are streamlined and efficient, thanks to its automation through library management software, ensuring easy access to resources and smooth management of library services.
Furthermore, the library is registered with the National Digital Library of India (NDLI), enhancing its digital resources and accessibility for its members. Library also runs a NDLI Club for its users and conducts programmes on diverse topics.

LRUC (Learning Resource Utilization Centre)

This Centre has been set up with the aim of providing the latest tools in teaching- learning process thereby augmenting and strengthening the conventional methods of teaching. The Centre has procured the necessary equipment and the learning resources in the form of Smart Class rooms and learning Softwares.
