Directorate of Tourism Jammu and Kashmir celebrated World Tourism Day. On this occasion, a seminar ” Green Initiatives in Tourism” was organized by the Tourism Department under the leadership of Ms. Deeba Khalid Peer ( JKAS). The seminar was attended by various dignitaries both from the Industry and Academia.
At the behest of Dr. Abrar Maqbool Shah students of the Travel and Tourism department from Government Polytechnic for Women Srinagar also attended the seminar and benefitted from the thoughts shared by various speakers.
Mrs. Rayeesa Altaf Shah faculty of Travel and tourism accompanied the students and was honoured with a certificate of appreciation.
Er. Mohammad Shafi Bhat, Principal GPWS, expressed his gratitude to the Department of Tourism Government of J&K for extending the invitation to his students of this institution.
