New Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Srinagar, Observes Day 13 of Seva Pakhwada 2025; Certifies 4th Batch Under Mission YUVA
Srinagar, September 30, 2025: The Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Srinagar, continues to actively participate in the nationwide Seva Pakhwada, marking its 13th day with a series of impactful community-oriented activities. The initiative, which emphasizes the spirit of service and social responsibility, has seen enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty.
As part of the Pakhwada, the college has undertaken a diverse range of programs designed to contribute to societal welfare and empower the community. Key activities observed over the past days include Cleanliness Drives, Extensive ‘Swachhata Abhiyan’ campaigns in and around the college campus and adjacent public areas, promoting hygiene and environmental consciousness.
In a significant parallel achievement, the college proudly announced the successful completion and certification of the 4th Batch of Capacity Building under Mission YUVA. The certification ceremony was held today on September 30, 2025, at the Government Polytechnic for Women, Srinagar.
A total of 19 candidates were certified, having successfully completed the rigorous skill development training program. Mission YUVA, a flagship initiative, aims to equip youth with industry-relevant skills, enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial capabilities.
Er. Imtiaz Ahmad Shaw, Principal of Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Srinagar, commended the efforts of all involved.
