The Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Surinder Chaudhary, accompanied by Director, Skill Development Department, Dr. Ovais Ahmed (IAS), visited Government Women’s Polytechnic College Srinagar on 09 May, 2026.

During his visit, Shri Chaudhary graciously interacted with the faculty and students, appreciating their dedication and contributions to skill-based education. He also took stock of various ongoing projects at the institution, including vocational training programs, infrastructure developments, and innovative initiatives aimed at empowering women through polytechnic education.
